September 11 P3 1) , the president of the association for relieving the flood in had written to Ambassador Lim, saying that in response to the request by the CBA of sending some of their donations to relieve the victims in Japan, he had to call a meeting to obtain the consent of the members. A meeting was to be held on Sept. 12. 2) The Chinese Students' Athletic Assoc. would produce a drama on Sept. 16 to raise funds for the expenses of the association, (eversince the assoc. had become a member of the Football Assoc., there was a great increase in expenses.) 3) A Chinese hawker sued a car company due to some clash in buying a car. The judge discriminated against him because he wore Chinese costume and culd not speak English well, by postponing the trial to Sept. 19. The Chinese condemned the judge for the postponement which might possibly affect his business. He was later brought out of the court in order to avoid further redeness.
