August 18 Pi 1) An article on the development of the realty of Chee Kung Tong. The people 4 were urged to buy shares for the building of Chee Kung Tong in Vancouver so that it could become the property of the assoc. (The building had previously been mortgaged for funds which was sent to support the revolution in China.) P3 2) held a meeting yesterday to discuss the plan of building a school in . An office was set up to deal with this. Donations would be called for soon. 3) A Chinese brick worker was killed in work and his family attempted to apply for compensation but failed. With the consistent protest by Ambassador Lim, a considerable amount of compensation had been setn to them in China. Lim was thus priased by a clan member of the victim for his efforts. P6 4) Names of donors (from Kamloops) to Chee Kung Tong in Lethbridge.
