July 11 Pl&2 1) The representative committee in Ottawa was denounced for disregarding ambas- sador Chou's opinion and for agreeing to the term that demanded $500 head tax from merchants. It was hoped that the committee could negotiate with Ambassador Chau first befdrfeaking any action. P3 2) got a reply from the governor general that his appeal had already been sent to the external affairs minister. 3) , who had been the executive for the external affairs of Chee Kung long in Cuba for many years stopped in Van. and was welcomed by Chee Kung long. 4) The Women's Association had been working very hard on sweeping out the drug problem. It pointed out that if the punishment for the offence was not severe, the offenders would surely recommit the crime. Thus deportation of all Chinese offenders should be absolute, otherwise drug problems would never cease. 5) Names of donors to Chee Kung Tong in Chilliwack. 6) Names of the executives of Tsao To School.
