Description

July 7 P3 1) A Canadian gave a talk on the East Asian immigration problem. He said that this problem did not affect Vancou er only, but the whole world. However, there was no use in chasing out the minority groups, since history told the people that harsh treatment or violence would only do harm. 2)A Chinese was caught with a trunk of bullets at home. 3)A continuation of the letter of June 18 of the rep. committee to the H.Q. for protest of immigration law. It WHS reported that the reaction of various branches for protest to the proposal of letting the false merchants pay extra head ta x instead of deportation.
