Description

May 8 P3 1) In response to the harsh immigration law, associations for protest were set up in Medicine Hat, Saskatoon, and Kelowna. Executives were elected to raise funds and to run for protest. 2) held a remembrance celebration for ancestor ; speeches were made by president , , , etc. 3) & had gone to Vernon and Armstrong. They had attended the celebration ceremony for on May 5. 4) announced that due to recent robbery in a few villages in China, each member should donate $5 so as to help the victims. Fund drives would be held in all branches over Canada. A list of donors were reported. P2 5) on May 2 thanked (Cumberland) for giving him the gold medal and in both Cumberland and Vancouver and also in Vancouver for the farewell banquets before he left for China.
