Description
April 6 P3 1) 2 Chinese were arrested for carrying drugs. 2) News from Victoria. The Women's Assoc. held a meeting to discuss a few terms in the new Chinese immigration law. They decided to request the govern- ment to revise the term that forbade women from coming into Canada. (In the past, women teachers and wives of the reverends were allowed to come.) P3 3) No solution came out after the discussion between the Education Department and the parents of the Chinese students. Neither of them gave in. The Education Department pointed out that if the Chinese students still per- sisted on not going to school next week, there would be no further dealing.
