October 20, 1922 (Friday) P.3 (1) A Canadian from Victoria wrote to the Vancouver Sun, stating that he was strongly against the School Administration Department's segregation policy. Such an act surely indicated the department's narrow-mindedness and prejudice. (2) The tide of school segregation spread to Vancouver. A number of Canadian parents were in favor of school segregation. They did not want their children to get mixed up with the Chinese. (3) The Chinese students emphasized that they would not go to school so long as the school segregation policy was enforced. j±t... ji. |-i (4) The case of TL LH! --- (who murdered the owner hi'- ^ of v A^ \~~\ ): the final judgement had to be postponed owing to different opinions of the juries.
