- Description
- October 3. 1922 (Tuesday) P. 3 (1) The Chinese Anti-School Segregation Association sent a letter to the C.B.A. of Vancouver on September 28, requesting help and co-operation in stopping the School Administration Department from re-enforcing the policy of segregation of schools. The C.B.A. was asked to inform both the Chinese and the English newspaper about the injustice and to arouse all Overseas Chinese to help. The Chinese government and the associations in China should also be informed about the discrimination, so that people could unite together to protest against such segregation policy. (2) The Association for Excluding the Asians held a meeting on October 1 to discuss the problem of sweeping out the drugs as well as the Asians. Among the speakers were M.P. ~tv ^4- AJ __ ^.\ fMiA. fy -\. They pointed out the abuse of letting the Asians in and hoped to acknowledge all Canadians, especially those in the East Coast of such abuse as complete exploitation by the Asians in all fields of industry and agriculture.
