Description
Septemb-er 18, 1922 (Monday) P.3 (1) A Canadian wrote to the Vancouver Sun to attack a previous report by another Canadian who said that the Asians were more intelligent than the whites. He stressed that if the Asians were superior, they would not come over to the white community and would not be taught by or mixed with the inferior whites. Moreover, a prominent Japanese had once said that the Japanese were less efficient as compared to the whites. Their low efficiency surely deserved the low wage. This could certainly apply to the Chinese also. P.3 (2) The Vancouver Sun attacked the School Administration Department of Victoria for segregating the Chinese students from the white ones.
