September 8, 1922 (Friday) P.3 (1) The Association for Excluding the Asians was going to hold a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the Asian problem. A number of M.P.'s were , -H 4-1 f invited to give a talk, e.g. - -v_ j x '$' ^ rTA (M.P. of Skeena) ^ .^\ -'V'A ^ (M.P. of New Westminster) and ,"-' ';'£: L_> ^\i (M.P. of Vancouver). (2) C-Vxu-. V( ^\ ,(u^ in Calgary welcomed J-ffe £_ ;r^S TT ' and ~.:' \> ~K^ A. considerable amount of money had been raised there. (3) 3 problems faced by the School Administration Department of Victoria: 1. the whites opposed to the plan of building a Chinese School at teV -ivV Street. 2. The whites were against the temporary Chinese School which was situated at '\i>^( Street. 3. The Chinese students protested against the segregation of white and Chinese students. A few famous Chinese had already hired a lawyer to deal with the case.
