August 25, 1922 (Friday) P.3 (1) The Kwan clan planned to establish a library, a club and a monthly newspaper for the clan members. Fund raising was called forth. (2) The Commerce Association and Public Service of Canada held a meeting in Montreal to discuss the Asian and the drug problems. The representatives present all agreed that the government should forbid the Asians from coming to Canada and that harsh laws should be imposed on all drug criminals. For instance, all foreigners who had committed drug offences should be deported.
