Description: August 5, 1922 (Saturday) \ f- / P.3 (1) Government inspector \- 'I -1 ,\j had asked the police to pay special attention to the Chinese laundrymen who were found to be working on Sunday. It was however reported by the police that not only the Chinese laundrymen were working on Sunday, but also some Jam-making companies and mechanics were working too. (2) A Chinese was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for smuggling opium into Canada.
