Description: June 6, 1922 (Tuesday) P.3 (1) A Chinese was applying for Canadian citizenship and his sponsor had to be interviewed. The content of the interview was mainly about what contribution could the Chinese make to Canada and the bad effect if no restriction was imposed on Chinese immigration. The judge finally said that he could not make decision and he had to present the case to the cabinets and let them decide whether citizenship could be granted or not. P.3 (2) 19 Chinese were arrested for gambling.
