Dec ember _10 P.I 1) Soo Lee Ping - together with , , , went on a tour. When they weee in enroute to Victoria, they were warmly welcomed and Soo made a speech. He encouraged the members that China had the same natural resources for the workers to work on. He encouraged them to help develop the potential resources. P.3 2) CPS Football team ( ) would hold a match with the post office team on Dec. 10. 3) Hoysun 2nd School Touring Assoc. - the 2nd school establishment Assoc. (H.Q.) sent the president to Van. to discuss the setting up of the touring association, and to close down the fund raising bureau. A general meeting woul. d be held on Dec. 11 at CBA. 4) Consul General Yeung - the Chinese organizations paid the last respect to Consul General. 5) Chilliwack News - the court hearing about the burnt Chinese store and 3 victims. 6) Ottawa: the B.C. Legislature Assoc. had set up a new law prohibiting Chinese and Japanese from working on the crown land. The federal court had over-ruled the B.C. decision of setting up such a law without referring to them. Another hearing had been scheduled on Dec. 15. p.3 7) Mr. Ng Wun Gee thanked his friends for giving him farewell parties and presents. 8) CKT H.Q. - announced the 2 of 1922. Vice to be stationed in Winnipeg. The would assume the post on Dec. 14 general convention.
