- December 8 P.3 1) Consul Yip had visited Chilliwack where a Chinese store was burnt down involving 3 deaths. Yip had tried to find the villains who set the fire. At last he caught a whiteman. 2) Vice Consul Yip - who had been working at the Consulate in Ottawa was in Van. enroute to China. He was received warmly by Consul Yip. A banquet was held by CBA and Hoysun Association. 3) Dart Coon Club Vancouver - announced on Dec. 2 that a general meeting would be held on Dec. 11. 4) Saskatoon News - the RCMP were trying to arrest a Chinese who tried to smuggle evil drugs into the States. 5) Revelstoke news - a Chinese, Chiang Ah Po, who was hated by the Chinese community was put in prison due to cheating of money. He was always regarded as a traitor who turned Chinese in. 6) Chan Leung Schoni thanked CKT, Wing Cheun Tong in Vancouver and Victoria for giving him farewell and gifts. 7) Tee Shing Shon Yee Hui Exchange Co. ( ) the Constitution was posted. There were 11 initiators whereas all the Shon Yee Assoc. members were seconders. 8) CKT Cumberland - executive list; President ; Vice.
