- December 5 P.3 1) Consul General Yeung - his coffin would be arriving in Van. on Dec. 6, and then to be shipped back to China. 2) Sacred God School (627 Keefer) was a school set up by a few nuns. The head was a devoted Chinesespeaking nun who had served in China and also the Chinese hospital in Montreal. The school offered English and music courses and now they added commercial courses. The English courses were free but a small fee was charged for the commercial courses. p.3 3) CKT Realty Development Co. executive held a meeting on Dec. 4 whereby a contract was drawn up with the whitemen for buying back the properties. 4) Dart Coon Club Van - the new executive assumed offices on Dec. 4. Speeches made. 5) En-Yap long Fook long - Kwong Ghee School had been set up for 1 year with satisfactory results. was hired from China to teach and a banquet was held for him. Consul Yip, CBA teachers, Seto Mare and many others attended. 6) CKT Nanaimo: a meeting had been held on Dec. 3, new members were admitted. A banquet was held on Dec. 4, to welcome Soo Lee Ping, the teacher of the school. Soo Lee Ping was asked to make a speech. 7) CKT Van. - name list of donors for the 2 H.Q.'s. CKT Vic.: according to the , the president, secretary and public relationsman would have to be elected separately. The date Dec.l, the scheduled final election, was to be postponed to Dec. 12 due to the delay in sending in names. 8) Cumberland - the bereived family thanked the CKT, Cheng Wing Yeung and Tung Fook Mong and the friends for giving gifts.
