- November 29 P. 3 1) Anti-Asian Society had sent letters to various HP's and MLA's (candidates) on the response to exclusion of E. Asians. The replies were mostly in favour of exclusion especially MLA ; he pointed out that according to law, the Chinese commited drug offenses and could be deported. 2) CPOS Ship, Asian Queen had arrived with tons of oranges and 150 passengers. I 3) News from New Westminster - 87 teachers had resigned. 4) CKT Victoria - announced that before the year ended all members and branches should return all donations and donation books. 5) Van. - made up of 9 companies; announced on Nov. 23 that the tong was most honest and it was to serve the community. It attacked another company (Ah Chew Co.) of selling sub-standard jewellery. 6) CKT Victoria - was returning to China and he thanked the H.Q., Dart Coon Club and 3 Hap Co. for giving him a farewell. 7) Dart Coon Club Vancouver - announced that the 4 cities Dart Coon General Con- ference and the 3rd anniversary celebration would be postponed to Dec. 25th.
