November 18 P.3 1) CP0S Football would compete with a white team on Nov. 19. 2) Van. Sun printed an anti-E. Asian article, the writer advocated exclusion of E. Asians. 3) 3 drug offenders were arrested. 4) School segregation - Victoria news - The Education department replied to a letter from a resident by stating that the department had no discrimination against nationalities. 5) Dart Coon Club Van. - result of preliminary election. 6) Ah Chew Co. - 103 Fender Street - had extended business. 7) Cheng Wing Yeung H.Q. Van. announced on Nov. 15 that starting Jan. 1, 1922, $2 exit fee would be collected from each member who was returning to China. The fee was for associational maintenance. 2nd announcement - Pak Tze Hui shares would be one dollar increased in 1922. (i.e. $11). 3rd announcement - replace- ment of the treasurer because the old one was returning to China. 8) Hoysun County, 49th district, Lira's clan school establishment - a name list of share holders who came from the next province. Members were encouraged to buy shares.
