October 31 Pw,2 1) Anti-Asian Society - the secretary and also a reporter of the Globe and Mail newspaper went to and Powej^ll River to set up branches. Executives consisted of an elementary school principal, doctors and veterans. They advocated firing E. Asians and replacing them with white workers. 3) More drug offenders were arrested. 4) CKT School - the teacher Soo Lee Ping ( ) had arrived in Victoria. He was received warmly at the pier by Loe Yin, Lim L- Wing and 30 members. 5) CKT Sam Hap Company - since the adminstrator Lim L. Wing had planned to resign after his service terminated, the shareholders were asked to think about the replacement. 6) CKT (Hammond) - the office space was for rent, the bidding day would be Nov. 6th. 7) Dart Coon Club Van. - had been set up for 3 years. On Dec. 11,there would be a celebration. Concurrently, a general convention would be held by 4 cities - Van., Vic., , & 8) CKT Vic. - urged the branches to hand in the donation books.
