- September 28 P.3 1) I Quo School - Chinese Reform Party in Van. held a party to commemorate Confucius. 2) Van. Sun - an article attacking E. Asians. 3) Retail Merchant's Assoc. - anti Asian meeting was held, the Chinese and Japanese Consuls were there. Speeches and suggestions were made to prohibit Japanese and Chinese from entering Canada. 4) Vic. news - the Chinese delegates attending the conference in Washington about E. Asian issues would not visit Canada. 100 candidates would go to San Francisco instead of Canada (Vancouver). P.3 5) CKT School celebrated Confucius Day on Sept. 27. CKT H.Q. also took part. 6) , the owner of in Victoria would hold a wedding for his son who would marry the daughter of of Nanaimo.
