July 23 P.I 1) visitor - report of the speech of and P.3 2) Kai-yap King Bo reported that the members were enthusiastic in buying shares. 3) Immigration problem - exclusion rod of E- Asians was encouraged by the Business Association. The members requested to drport all E. Asians living in B.C. P.I 4)Discrimination v.s. E. Asians Victoria: the City Council in Duncan suggested to prohibit E. Asians from buying property or farmland in B.C. However, Vic. Council nullified the bill for fear of E. Asians moving into large cities and competing with white workers.
