June 30 1) CKT H.Q. - list of donors for maintenance fee. 2) The Veteran's Association intended to hold a public hearing on July 8 at City Hall to discuss immigration; and the population growth of E. Asians in Canada. 3) Immigration problems - 2 Chinese youngsters were refused entry. Both were here for family reunions, however, the judge said that Canada couldn't afford to accommodate relatives of all Chinese-Canadians. 4) Immigration problem - a concubine of a Chinese merchant had trouble in gaining entry even though she was willing to pay the head tax. ler case was being con- sidered. 5) CKT Cranbrook - the associational building would be officially opened on Aug. 6. 6) Kuomingtang Cranbrook - on June 27 a member denounced the association because it cheated him of $30 which the executive claimed to be I.D. payment.
