June 24 P.2 1) In defense of Chinese eggso - article in the Van. Sun by a white businessman who defended the Chinese eggs. P.3 2) reported an article which criticized the 'illegal immigration association1 and the inefficiency of the immigration department. 3) An alderman ( ) telegrammed the Prime Minister of Britain stating that all residents in S. Van. were against the entry of E. Asians into Canada. 4) A Chinese was put in prison for 6 months for possession of evil drugs. 5) Another Chinese was fined $200 or 3 months imprisonment for possession of opium.
