June 13 P.2 1) CKT San Fransieco- description of general convention. The delegate from Canada presented a brief:re establishment of a business firm in H.K. which was also the address for correspondence. The proposal was accepted. 2) A Chinese opium smoker was fined $50 or 1 month imprisonment. 3) Mah Kam Ghee Tong Vancouver - welcoming party for Dr. who was a VIP from the States. He was on holiday in Van., and there were over 100 participants in the party. P.3 4) Attack on Chinese eggs - the increase import of eggs from E- Asian countries terrified the whites. There was a suggestion to set up a Domestic Animal Protection Association and increase the income tax of all imported eggs or egg products. 5) Yuk Ying Reading Room Vancouver - gathering was held for both old and new members on June 11.
