Description: June 3 P.3 1)2 Chinese were arrested for drug offenses. One was put to prison for 1 year, the other was fined $200. 2) Oppression v.s. E. Asian farmers - Victoria news. The agricultural minister said that E. Asian farmers were competing with the white farmers. Measures had to be taken to check the expanding power of E. Asians. Many white farmers had requested the minister to go to the parliament in London to protest.
