May 28 P.2 1) CKT H.Q. San Francisco - a name list of reps, from various CKT Branches. 2) A Chinese was put to prison for 1 year due to selling evil drugs. 3) Van. Sun printed an article in defense of the Chinese restauranters, butchers etc. The writer wrote that Chinese were more honest in selling meat and other products, thus they deserve to havemore customers. P.3 4) B.C. Agricultural Department gave a report on the num bers and types of farms operated by Chinese or E. Asian Farmers. 5) CKT Vic. announced that the general convention which was to be held on May 27 in Honolulu had already been postponed to June 16 due to convention in San Francisco. 6) Kai-ping Ming Pao - the first term shareholders.
