May 13 P.2 1) An article in the Van. Sun - a resident suggested that employers should be encouraged by certain awards for employing veterans. P.3 2) Some opium, a gun and goxes of liquor were found in a Chinese residence in S. Van. 3) 2 Chinese were arrested for possession of evil drugs; one was fined $300 and the other 3 months imprisonment. 4) CKT H.Q. - would hold a funeral for the secretary who died recently. 5)CKT Trail: celebrated the 1st anniversary as well as the founding of the United Security Ass'n ( ) on April 21.
