May 11 P.2 1) There was a proposal to exclude eggs exported from China. 2) There was an article written by a Veteran on the Van. Sun complaining about the unemployment rate of the Veterans and the 'inequality' they experienced in finding jobs. P.3 3) Another visitor complained about the competition they had with Chinese workers who only worked for 20-30C per hour. 4) A Chinese wrote to Van. Sun and explained that whitemen were behind the evil drug market. Chinese were only small retail businessmen of salesagents. If the government really wanted to ban the drug merchants, it should appeal to the British government and stop the evil-drug production in India. 5) 42 Chinese gamblers were arrested at 121 Fender Street, and fined $10 each. 6) 2 Chinese were arrested for selling evil drugs - one was put in prison for 1 year, the other, 1 year imprisonment in addition to $100 fine. 7) CKT Chilliwack - name list of donors for March Worship fees. 8) CKT Prince George - 6 members pronounced their alleigance to the association.
