May 7 .1 1) An article about the May 7 National Humiliation Day. The 21 restrictive conditions in the treaty with Japan were posted to remind the readers. P.2 2) Exclusion - the Business and Labour Association ( ) held a meeting to discuss about the problem of East Asians. They reported that in Van. E. Asians occupied nearly 50% of service work (Chinese 630; Japanese 75). They intended to send the numbers to the various organizations and persuade them to fire the E. Asians and replace them with Veterans. At the same time, they discussed drug problems. 3) Consul Yip would not be leaving for San. Francisco soon because his replacement' Chan Wai Shing of the London Embassy wouldn't be here on time.
