- May 2 P.2 1) The Sun printed an article exposing the information that the Chinese interpreter and of the immigration office boasted that they were 2 very important persons in the department and would not get fired. 2) Columnist newspaper stated that about 700-100 Chinese workers had entered Canada using false identity; thus causing the government to lose %- million head tax. The immigration dept. head also was criticized for not keeping a close surveillance on the 2 interpreters. P.3 3) CKT Van. of CKT Toronto was in Van. enroute to China. 4) CKT Revelstoke - celebrated the Day. 5) CKT Saskatoon - celebration the Day on April 27. 6) Chung Wah Hospital Montreal - an opera performance was put on to raise funds. 7) CKT Duncan - the present president would be returning to China on May 10. was then elected to replace him. 8) Man Kam Chee H.Q. Van. - in order to develop associational property, there was a need to recruit shareholders. 3 agents weee elected to travel around and collect share money. P.9 10) Hoysun Assoc. name list of donors for establishment of secondary school.
