April-16 P.I 1) Fund raising for famine relief - Van. was praised as the first to start the Fund drive for famine relief and Vic. was the back up force. Over 40,000 dollars was raised by the Van. fund drive association. P.2 2) CPOS ship, Asian Queen would be arriving in Vic. Onboard were over 1000 Chinese who were all going to Havana or the States. P.3 3) CKT (Hamilton): held the 1st anniversary celebration. Speeches made. 4) CKT H.Q. fund raising through bazaar: the whole CKT building was borrowed for the fund raising bazaar.
