March 10 P.3 1) Some gold bricks onboard the liner Czarina were discovered to be stolen when the liner arrived in Victoria. The post office now said that some Chinese who helped to arrange the mail onboard were responsible for the gold bricks. 2) Fund raising Assoc. - donations for famine relief came from Ontario. 35 News from Quebec - the white population asked that the govt. should reduce immigration due to unemployment in Canada. 4) Fund raising Assoc. donations came from Calgary. About $164 was sent to Vic. H.Q. to be sent back to China. 5) CKT Duncan - executive list; President ; vice P.7 6) Fund Raising Assoc. Van. - evidence from Royal Bank bhat famine relief society had remitted $10,000 (Chinese currency) for famine relief.
