February 28 P.2 1) Fund raising association for drought relief: announcement of donations and services. 2) Dart Coon in Van. held spring festival whereby some white guests were invited. , the ex-president who had just returned to Canada from China gave a speech on the development of the CKT. P.3 3) A housing inspector reported to the City Council that houses in Chinatown were in poor condition, due to carelessness of both owners and tenants. Many have par illegal titions in order to provide more rooms . 4) The Provincial Legislature discussed the problem of Chinese eggs. A whiteman suggested to re-enforce the law of 1919. The agricultural dept. asserted that there were only about a_____ of Chinese eggs in the B.C. Market while most of them were shipped to the East. Chinese eggs (fresh v.s. reserved) only served the Chinese markets.
