- January 29 p.2 1) Fund raising for famine relief in China: Consul General Yip, and , and suggested to have a bazaar in February. Recently Chin- ese stores were quite enthusiastic in donating merchandize for the bazaar. 2) Fund raising for famine relief by selling pins: various religious associations were trying to raise funds by selling pins. They hoped that the general white public would support the fund drive. However, some white men wanted to spoil it and protest against it. They carried a board discouraaging donation and many whites were influenced by them. p.2-3 3) 2 Chinese were charged with possession of illegal drugs, one was fined $3000, others $200. 4) CKT Prince George: on Jan. 18, a few new members were admitted. 5) CKT Saskatoon: was opened in Dec. 1920; the opening ceremony was successful and new members were admitted. Another admission ceremony was held with more than 10 new members admitted. 6) Dart Coon Club Cumberland - executive list; president ; vice 7) Chan Wing Chenn H.Q. - executive list president ; vice 8) Hoysun Association - school establishment preparation cttee Total donation was over $230,000 (registered and instant). Total money collected $182,000. Now, all donation books or donations were requested to be handed in before March 1st.
