January 27 P.2 1) Fund raising for the famine relief in 5 northern Chinese provinces; the mayor and city council had granted the permission to the Chinese Christian/ Catholic to sell pins on Jan. 29. The women would be responsible for raising funds and all funds raised would be handed to Toronto Bank of Commerce which would draft the money to China. P.3 2) Exclusion - the Liberal Party of the No. 6 district had a meeting to discuss 2 issues, one of which was about the entry of E. Asian workers. 4 reps- were chosen to investigate the situation. 3) News from New Westminster - on Jan. 26, a sawmill factory suddenly caught fire; the cause might be that those workers who were fired wanted revenge. (The factory mostly employed Hindus.) 4) Prince George - Chee Duck Tong - opening and figts and guest list. 5) CKT Kelowna - a name list of those who gave worship fees. 6) CKT Hammond - executive list; President ; Vice 7) CKT St. Catherines executive list; President: ; Vice.
