December 21 P.I 1) CKT H.Q. - article by a reader encouraging the support for Ron Man Newspaper in Hawaii to help the development of the paper by buying shares. P.2 2) Consul General Yip of Van. received a letter from the Ambassador ( ) of San Francisco, who stated that Kwong Dong was saved from the bandits, however rhe soldiers and the Cantonese had suffered much. They decided they needed relief funds. The government had tried to employ them as road constructors, but much money was needed. It was hoped that all overseas Chinese would contribute. P.3 3) CKT Victoria - announced that Wong and Ng, who represented the H.Q. for an official tour in Canada had returned to Victoria on Dec. 8, and they left for San Francisco on Dec 15. They had been in Canada for 5 motiths. minor 4) CKT H.Q. -/exeuctive posts were elected. (the president, Chinese secretary, and chief social convenor would be elected by all CKT branches in Canada.) 5) CKT H.Q. - thanked those who donated to the General Convention. 6) CKT Kelowna - executive list: President ; vice 7) Chee Duck Tong - Prince George - would open on Jan. 8. P.5 8) Hoy Sun Assoc. H.Q. - the 9th and 10th donations.
