December 15 P.I 1) A report on a speech made by Consul General Yip on Nov. 21 speech day - how to improve the life-style of Chinese by establishing a Workmen's Club. Yip suggested that a club could improve the sanitary and social conditions of the Chinese; be- cause the present clubs (gambling),or restaurants were non-hygenic and contagious. This club could also provide accommodation and security for the lonely Chinese. P. 2 2) Asian Queen was sailing to the Orient, on board were 1170 passengers.
