- December 14 P.2 1) Van. news - the police department discovered that all Chinese stores were often open on Sundays which was a violation to the law. The owners would soon be questioned; and the plice would pay attention or investigate more closely to the conditions in Chinatown. P.3 2) A Chinese who was an employee of the CPOS was fined $300 for violation of the "liquor retulation" ( ). 3) CKT Prince George - Wong, Ng and Low C. Yin were in the area on Oct. 27.
