- December 10 P.2 1) 51 Chinese gamblers were arrested. They were fined $15. There were 19 others who were fined $10, the owner was fined $50. (all had to pay court fees.) 2) A white wholesale co. sued a Chinese restauranter of owing him $1371.16 food bill. 3) A Chinese sued another 2 for not paying him $5250 for land he sold them. 4) A white woman sued 3 Chinese for not paying her $15,000 as mortgage and land tax. 5) Dart Coon Club Van. - would hold a meeting on Dec. 12th. P.3 6) CKT Rossland - Wong, Ng, and Lim were accompanied to Rossland by a few Trail members- A few hundred dollars was raised. A fire had destroyed building in Rossland A new one was built and Wong and Ng had the chance to attend the 1st P.3 6) monthly ' " celebration.
