December 8 P.2 1) 425 passengers on board the Japanese Queen going back to the Orient. P.3 2) The Chinese Ambassador stationed in San Francisco was in Van. after his return from China. Due to his time schedule, only Consul General Yip had a chance to meet him and overseas Chinese were disappointed. 3) CKT Kamloops: Wong, Lim and Ng were in Kamloops Nov. 4. A meeting was immediately called for them and they raised about $600. 4) A gang of crewmen thanked Consul General Yip for claiming an additional monthly payment for 26 crewmen who were sent back to China due to smuggling.
