November 9 P.2 1) Tee Shing Shon Yee Hui branch in Vic. - under the order of H.Q. in Van., the branch was established in Vic. The aim was to exchange knowledge. Executive list: President: ; Vice: P.2 2) CBA Van. - held final election Nov. 6; President: ; Vice: P.3 3) Russian Queen arrive in Van. On board were over 300 1st class passengers, among them 75 landed in Vic. There were also many tons of silk P.3 4) A Chinese was fined $400 for possession of illegal drugs. The fine was given to the city while the drugs were given to federal government. 5) CBA Van. - announced that he did not give consent to the locality Assoc. to select him in CBA administrative board. 6) 64 Chinese arrested in 3 Chinese clubs. Heads fined $50 and others $15. 7) CKT H.Q. - had his birthday party on Nov. 4, the CKT members sent good wishes. 8) 1 CKT - H.Q. - list of executive candidates who had already been submitted to preliminary election.
