October 14 P.I 1) CKT Winnipeg - article commenting on realty development. The association still needed a few thousand dollars to pay for the building and Wong and Lim encouraged the CKT members to puy the shares. P.3 2) News from Kelowna: continued Oct. 12 P.3 - Lastly the anti Chinese meeting decided to inform the decisions of the meeting to the Can. tool manufacturers who hired many Chinese. (The mayor was one of the seven). They decided that the gov't. should change the law and prevent all E. Asians from working in stores and factories and demanded all goods imported from E. Asia to be labelled. 3) Consul General Yip announced that the interest for Chinese government bond of 1915 were out, and those with receipts should claim the money.
