October 8 P.2-3 1) GPS Van. - celebrated Confucius Day (holiday) when the principal, teachers, etc. gave lessons on how one should devote to Chinese culture. P.3 2) CBA Van. - announced on Oct. 5 that the year's election would be by locality. e.g. Hoysun , , ,- each should sent 5 reps, and 5 auxiliarie Ke-g. Kai-ping, En-ping, - 4 reps/4 auxiliary; , , , , , , - 2 reps./2 auxiliary. P.3 3) A Chinese foreman fled with over one thousand dollars from the boss. 4) A Chinese was fined $100 or 2 months in prison for possession of wine/liquor. 5) CKT - Wong and Lira C. Wing arrived in Winnipeg. A few hundred dollars were raised for the 5-ancestor temple and for phe Co.
