- September 28 p.3 1) 6 Chinese were arrested for smoking opium; 1 was fined $100, 2 others were each fined $15, and the others did not go to court so their bail money was confiscated 2) CKT Ladner - admission ritual was conducted by 3) Overseas Chinese fund raising bureau for Kwong Dong New Westminster. 10 agents already started on the fund drive. 4) CKT Nelson set up Dart Chee Reading Room which would be offocially opened on Oct.17. 5) North America Noodle Factory was founded.
