- September 22 P.3 1) Van. Sun reported that a Chinese who was gamlbing on a ship sailing to Van. started a fight with a crew-inspector. He was arrested. 2) CKT Calgary - Wong, Ng and Lira L- Wing were in Calgary on Sept. 13 inspecting the associational development and to encourage the founding of the 5-ancestor temple. They were given a tour and a general meeting was held whereby speeches were made and money was raised. On Sept. 16, another meeting was held at Dart Coon Branch. New members were admitted. 3) Kai-ping Lai Yee Chong Chow's Clan was preparing to establish a primary school. The donor list was posted, the highest donation was $500 and lowest waa $10.
