September 17 P.3 1) A few bottles of liquor were found in a residence occupied by 16 Chinese. They were broght to court even though there was a regulation allowing storage of wine/liquor in any residence. 2j A Canadian was fined $300 for storing 30 boxes of whisky. The liquor was confiscated. 3) Hoysun Assoc. H.Q. - posted the message sent by the H.Q. Hoysun Assoc. which asked for flood relief funds. 4) CKT H.Q. - Lim L- Wong gone for an official tour to the East with Wong and Ng and he posted in the paper that would be the acting director for Co. when he was gone. 5) Public Hospital fund raising bureau in Van. announced the total fund raised was $9166 (both registered and instant donation) however, actual money collected was only $8732.50 which had been stored in the merchant's bank under 4 names. The money would be iwthdrawn for construction.
