_September 3 P.3 1) CBA Van. - announced that a few uonths ago, it was reported in the English news- paper that the child Care Assoc. suggested school segregation; The CBA president with Consul General Yip would hold meeting on Sept. 5 to explain all white school regulation to Chinese students so that they would abide by the law and prevent any mishappenings. p. 3 2) Kai-Yap received a letter from a rich merchant in Vernon, Kelowna who suggested building a school and claimed that he would be responsible for raising funds. A fund raising team was set up, and its goal was $10,000. 3) CKT New West - celebrating 5-ancestor day on Sept. 6. On Sept. 5, Wong and Ng would visit the district, a welcoming party would be held and pre-registration was needed in order to attend the banquet. 4) Hoysun Assoc. - news from London, Ontario - $2000 was raised for school establishment.
