- August 16 P.3 1) CKT Vic. - Wong and Ng were warmly welcomed by the Freemason members who quit working on August 16. Speeches were made, and a banquet was held. 2) Hoysun Assoc. Vic. - distributed telegrams to various branches and money was raised for flood relief. $1500 in Victoria and $200 in Regina. 3) CKT H.Q. - 6 reps, would accompany Wong and Ng to Nanaimo, Bevan, Cumberland, Duncan and raise funds for the 5-ancestor temple establishment. 4) Consul General Yip announced that the interest of the government bonds would be returned by casting lots. The numbers were out.
