July 20 p.3 1)CPR Vice Director was in Van. and said the lack of labour force in railway work was due to immigration law which prohibited immigration of foreign labour. He indirectly pointed that such restriction would lead to industrial hinderance. 2)CKT Kelowna - welcomed Lim L. Wing, banquet was held and share money for Co. was raised. 3)CPS Vic - held picnic with more than 100 participants. 4)Hoysun Assoc. Vic. - moredonations received from places like , Windsor, and , where fund raising agents visited. 5)Hoysun Assoc. Van. - announced that the H.Q. would send some reps, to Van. so they and Van. reps, could go door-to-door canvassing and collect registered donations.
