June 18 P.I 1) sent a letter to H.Q, and talked about the land he proposed for 5-ancestor temple. P.2 2) Consul General announced that Chinese External Minister requested the overseas Chinese organizations should send reps, to before Oct. 20 to discuss a plan to have as a self-governed agricultural district. P.3 3) Tin Look ( ) reading room just established. Offered English night course, and rich supply of books, newspapers from China and H.K. The members were mostly locality members but R.R. open to all Chinese. President: 4) Hoysun H.Q. - enthusiastic in raising funds for school. 5) Chinese Shingle Workers Union of Canada: distributed 16 donation books to 16 factories to raise funds for bereaved family of a worker killed at work. They raised $190.55.
